The AltaMed My Vote, My HealthTM campaign mobilizes voters in the communities we serve through nonpartisan education campaigns. In 2018, we contacted more than 200,000 voters with our five-touch model and increased voter turnout by up to 400% in priority precincts. In 2020 we have added a large scale effort to ensure our community is counted in the 2020 Census.
Measuring Our Results

Where We Work
In Our Clinics
My Vote. My Health. trains patient-facing staff to engage AltaMed clients in outreach methods and organize our clinic staff into self-directed units promoting voter registration and participation and Census participation.
In Our Communities
My Vote. My Health. organizes and participates in public town halls, educational forums and press events to promote mobilization around critical community issues. We also undertake large scale get out the vote canvassing and phone banking in the lead up to elections.
In the 2018 cycle we mobilized thousands of low-propensity voters in the AltaMed service area to vote. In 2020 we have contacted and educated thousands more to participate in the March Primary Election and be counted in the 2020 Census. We are partnering with other public health providers across the state to multiply the impact we have had in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
